Jesus got down from his Ivory Tower, left Heaven, put flesh on and lived among the people he wanted to Influence.
Immanuel is more than Jesus. God with us is a reality our Father wanted to deepen inside of us from the very beginning.
God walked with Adam and Eve in the Garden.
God was the pillar of cloud and fire in the desert.
God dwelt with his people in the Holy of Holies.
God wants us to be influenced by him and him alone. He created us to be influenced by him. He blew the breath of Life inside our soul. The only Influence that will truly satisfy our soul is God’s Influence.
So in a move that was planned before Adam and Eve bit of the fruit, Jesus stepped off his throne and into Mary’s womb.

Influence is Presence.
In order to Influence others towards a preferred future, you must be present with the ones you desire to lead.

As you Hear & Follow Jesus, he will turn you into his image. The image of the One who set the tone for Influence is Presence.
How do you lead with Presence? To lead with Presence, you must be intentional about your Presence, but your Presence does not need to be some complex system.
For the life of me now, I don’t remember where I read this. But recently I read where a CEO saw lagging results in revenue. This author of the book I read noticed this CEO was never with his people.
All the coach told him to do was walk around daily and talk with the people he led. The boost in morale because the leader influenced through presence produced a boost in revenue.
Simple. But intentional.
